eCampus/Moodle integration

A course accessible through eCampus, which can eventually be integrated into other Moodle platforms.

Two formulas depending on your objectives

Discovery formula: 10 hours of coursework for all audiences. Advanced formula: 20 hours of coursework for learners who want to deepen AI technical concepts.

A grade and a micro-certification

The program can be integrated as mandatory or optional within a course and can lead to a grade. For members of Universite Paris-Saclay, it can also lead to a micro-certification.

Are you
a teacher or a student
at Université Paris-Saclay?

Or do you have a status that gives you access to eCampus: the certifying version of BrevetAI is already available on eCampus. Request access to BrevetAI.

Are you support staff at Université Paris-Saclay
or outside the university?

While waiting for the complete certifying version in September 2026, a demo version is open to everyone who has a Renater account.

Are you not a Paris-Saclay student and would like to take BrevetAI?
It is possible. The certifying version of BrevetAI will be available in September 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Target audience, prerequisites and accessibility

BrevetAI is accessible to all students from first-year undergraduate level, whatever their profile or background. Two formulas are available: Discovery (about 10 hours) and Advanced (about 20 hours).

No prerequisites are required. The SPOC has been tested with high school students and remains accessible from first-year level.

Yes. An English translation can be enabled directly in the application by clicking the corresponding flag in the navigation bar.

For now, BrevetAI is deployed on eCampus within the Paris-Saclay scope. Demo access is available for other institutions through Renater.

Content, structure and course scheduling

The Advanced formula (20h) includes the content of the Discovery formula (10h). It is not recommended to offer both formulas at the same time to the same group.

No. The pedagogical flow and assessments are designed for a full-track progression.

Planning at semester level is recommended. Grades can then be retrieved and transmitted through the eCampus/Moodle gradebook.

Yes. You are free to place BrevetAI in your curriculum at the semester or period of your choice, and it remains available all year round.

Assessment and micro-certification

Yes. Each part includes an assessment, and the final grade combines quiz results with practical activities.

Practical activities allow unlimited attempts. Quizzes have limited attempts, while still allowing students to continue the course.

Yes. Progressive hints, unblocking help and debriefs are provided to support learning progress.

A grade is used to validate ECTS credits when BrevetAI is integrated into a curriculum. A micro-certification validates skills through a badge.

Yes. Each formula leads to a distinct micro-certification.

The full certification is based on two micro-certifications: one after Discovery and one after Advanced.

Use of AI, ethical issues and critical reflection

Using AI tools is possible, but results are not always reliable. Certification combines quizzes and practical activities to better guarantee learning outcomes.

Yes, including impacts on work and risks linked to AI usage.

Yes, with an approach that includes humanities and social sciences: environmental impact, ethical issues, legal framework and scientific issues.

Two formulas are available: Discovery (around 10 hours) and Advanced (around 20 hours).
